Mischa Fanghaenel's Acclaimed NACHTS Series Debuts at Fotografiska
The photographer Mischa Fanghaenel will present his acclaimed series NACHTS at Fotografiska Berlin, focusing on the techno scene in the city. The exhibition will launch with an artist talk and opening reception on Tuesday, January 28. The exhibition will run until March 10.

With its striking imagery and thoughtful use of natural light, NACHTS unveils the intricate tapestry of the techno scene. This series of portraits—which are printed on aluminum—depicting a diverse community which exploring themes of identity, individuality and community. Each visage serves as a testament to the individual, collectively forming a rich mosaic that transcends language, culture, and background. Looking to the future, Fanghaenel envisions his photography as a catalyst for social change. His upcoming project on migration aims to redefine the notion of belonging, il lustrating the transformative power of art to bridge divides. METAMORPHIC SCULPTURES are bodies that have had their original shape changed by rope and fabric.
Visual artist Dan Carabas presents an immersive art exhibition of physical and digital artworks. Explore a completely dark space where the only illumination is from the artworks’ reflection. The works are accompanied by a sound installation by Peter Hayo on each of the physical images, which together constitute a symphony.

THE FAIREST 01: Open Your Eyes
THE FAIREST (TF): The first edition of TF Art Fair, Open Your Eyes Again, to present over 60 artists during the Berlin Art Week from 13 to 18 September 2022, at Kühlhaus Berlin.
THE FAIREST is a new public platform founded by curators Eleonora Sutter and Georgie Pope with the aim to give young, emerging or independent artists creative visibility in the art market. TF provides a forum for a variety of relevant, urgent, and experimental practices that showcase artists without gallery representation, who often lack access to art fairs and collectors.
TF is directed at a broad audience within and beyond the art world. TF represents an exciting selection of artists and is an art fair that operates according to the core values and vision of its founders. This includes addressing new audiences for art, developing new notions of "art collecting" and promoting diverse forms of engagement with art, as well as giving fresh impetus to established collectors.
