Berlin-based photographer and director Maria Barton is from Gijón, a small city in the north of Spain where, according to the local newspaper, there are more dogs than people under 18. There is little to do there, so she started skating and shooting skateboarding more than 15 years ago. Some years later, she translated her spontaneous and authentic style into fashion.
