The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is an icon. Launched on the market more than 25 years ago, it has become eponymous for an entire segment and is meanwhile also available as an all-wheel-drive Sprinter 4x4 for more demanding tasks. The global campaign, photographed by MARKUS WENDLER for Preuss und Preuss, is designed to not only highlight the numerous features of the Sprinter 4x4, but also serve as the catalyst to kick-off communication for the entire Sprinter range.
Preuss und Preuss : “Embracing the claim ‘Excellence Always Pays Off,’ we show that the decision in favor of the Sprinter 4×4 truly does precisely that in the long-term. At the heart of it all is a thrilling TV spot in which the Sprinter 4×4 defies a raging blizzard in the mountains. The spectacular setting is also the stage for print, OOH and entertaining social media assets that impressively showcase its every feature.”

The motifs presented here for SETRA are the result of high-end teamwork. Concerted action to create the full-CGI image spread came in particular from the agency Preuss und Preuss, Mondlicht Studios, Stefan Eisele Post Production, and photographer Igor Panitz.

The bus brand SETRA of Daimler Truck AG is distributed in Europe in the Daimler Buses division through the company subsidiary EvoBus. The initial owner of the brand was Kässbohrer Fahrzeugwerke GmbH which built buses under the brand name Kässbohrer Setra until the company experienced financial difficulties and was forced to sell the bus and coach division to the then Daimler-Benz AG in 1995. The name Setra is derived from the German word for self-supporting. The entire spectrum of omnibuses of the Setra brand is manufactured in Neu-Ulm, Germany.

PREUSS UND PREUSS (Stuttgart / Berlin) presents its new campaign for MERCEDES BENZ VANS on GoSee. The highlight is a 60-second main film produced completely in CGI, featuring thrilling perspectives and tracking shots as well as an aura of floating soap bubbles and its own, specially composed song ‘Space’.
“Launched globally, the campaign takes a broad communication approach covering all MERCEDES BENZ VANS of the private range. Each of the vehicles not only offers the comfort typical of the brand paired with innovative technologies but also more space – for families, hobbies, travel or to personally unfold. The shared core promise: These multi-purpose vehicles and camper vans give you the luxury of putting more individuality into your daily life and leisure time, and by doing so, set yourself apart. Expressed in a nutshell with the confident words of the claim: ‘Space maximized’.
To depict the broad range, from urban use to outdoor explorations, a visual spectrum was created together with Storz & Escherich made up of four unique worlds and graphic auras. Each aura represents a giant and nonetheless aesthetic space for personal freedom, visually in stark contrast to the communication media of the competition. Resulting from a clear focus on the vehicles and breathtaking visuals is an unmistakable look.” says CEO Michael Preuss.
