Responsible for the food design of the latest advertising motifs for LEE KUM KEE – manufacturer of Chinese and other Asian sauces based in Hong Kong – was Karsten von KUCZKOWSKI c/o BASICS BERLIN. The motifs were photographed by Jan Seebeck.In 1888, a restaurant owner named Lee Kum Sheung in southern China was cooking a pot of oyster soup and forgot about it until the soup had been reduced to a thick sauce.
