AIDA Cruises is a cruise line brand primarily targeted at the German-speaking market of the AIDA Cruises German branch which belongs to the Italian company Costa Crociere S.p.A. with headquarters in Rostock. AIDA Cruises has been the market leader in Germany for several years according to the company.

Responsible for operation of the fleet of the brands Aida Cruises, Costa Crociere and Costa Asia, all sailing under the flag of Italy, is Carnival Maritime GmbH in Hamburg, which was founded in February 2015.
