Catrin was born in Gütersloh, Germany. After finishing school in 1995 she studied fashion design. After completing her studies with a diploma Catrin began working as a stylist for various TV- and film productions. In 2003 she started her freelance career and is a contributing editor to kids wear magazine. Since 2009 Catrin is the creative director of her own fashion label August. She lives in Cologne.
