featured by Uwe Koerner : Spring feelings in the anniversary year – UWE KOERNER realized the U1 spread for WÖHRL MAGAZINE

90 Years of WÖHRL. Photographer UWE KOERNER realized the U1 spread for WÖHRL MAGAZINE. The Creative Director responsible was Stefanie Schimoni c/o NUTS.

“Spring fever in the anniversary year – from new must-have brands to luxury beauty or even sustainable fashion. Just as colorful as the product range and shopping worlds from WÖHRL are the photo spreads for the magazine realized by nuts kreativ. Photographer Uwe Körner staged the newest looks for the Spring/Summer campaign in shimmering settings and with floral highlights.” NUTS.

The content of the magazine was conceived by Nuremberg-based magazine nuts, founded by Christian Greiner and Tobias Zepf, true from the very beginning to the principle ‘digital first’. Video reels with the models and influencers of the campaign were produced on set and used across WÖHRL’s various digital channels. The ‘Flower Power’ hype thus also spread on social media and contributed to the conversation. As an additional highlight, the clips are also played on the 27m high XXL LED wall at WÖHRL in Nuremberg.

Rudolf Wöhrl SE is a German clothing company with headquarters in Nuremberg, which was founded in 1933 by Rudolf Wöhrl. In 2016, the company filed for bankruptcy, and in a bidding process, Christian Greiner, the grandchild of company founder Rudolf Wöhrl and chairman of Ludwig Beck AG, won the bid and acquired all remaining stores in May 2017. He was supported by his father Hans Rudolf Wöhrl, proprietor of the Intro Group. A little over a year after the takeover, Rudolf Wöhrl SE was once again in the black. The Wöhrl Group has 30 store locations today, mainly in southern Germany.
