For their latest R&D project, MONDLICHT STUDIOS drew inspiration from an unexpected design field: the bank cards of international fintech brand Revolut. Its so-called Card Art has gained attention in recent years - Revolut experiments boldly with materials, textures and visual effects, ranging from metal finishes to holographic surfaces and limited artist editions.
This experimental design approach sparked Mondlicht’s interest. Rather than replicating existing cards, the team developed an independent series of material studies – created with Houdini, Redshift and Photoshop. At the heart of the project are simulations, visual exploration and a creative approach to surfaces more commonly found in product design than in CGI.

For AVATR Design, Mondlicht Studios developed a series of outstanding key visuals showcasing the AVATR 06 in two striking color variants. The brief was simple: take the model and go. Full CGI, full creative execution, full service by Mondlicht.
The result demonstrates how Mondlicht transforms complex automotive models into atmospheric, meticulously crafted visual worlds. Light, materiality and environment blend seamlessly, giving the AVATR 06 a strong presence that convinces both technologically and aesthetically.
From the initial concept to the final delivery, Mondlicht Studios handled every creative and technical step. The outcome: key visuals that not only highlight the design language of the AVATR 06 but also communicate the brand’s promise of modern electric mobility. Or as the team puts it: “Happy client, happy us.”

Under the name Lucid Gravity X, Lucid Motors has unveiled a striking new concept vehicle - accompanied by an image campaign created together with MONDLICHT STUDIOS that goes far beyond classic product photography. The visuals merge luxury, nature and a sense of adventure into an aesthetic narrative. This approach aligns perfectly with Mondlicht’s DNA: emotional image worlds that tell stories.
Based on the existing Lucid Gravity model, the Gravity X pushes well beyond the boundaries of a traditional luxury SUV. It stands as a symbol of freedom and exploration, combining SUV capability with an adventurous design language - a setting that Mondlicht translates exceptionally well into compelling visuals.
The reveal took place in August 2025 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance - an event synonymous with automotive history, elegance and timeless aesthetics.
