In the heart of the unique City Palace of Jaipur, Dean FREEMAN c/o ROCKENFELLER & GÖBELS campaign for the US POLO ASSOCIATION India masterfully combines royal splendour, sportsmanship and fair play with the fashion of US POLO ASSN.
The campaign stars His Highness Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh-Pacho, the global ambassador of the US Polo Association, in a series of three adverts that combine the intensity of polo with the majestic charm of palace life. Against a backdrop of opulent corridors and historic courtyards, horses gallop through the palace grounds, capturing the spirit of a sport forever intertwined with India's royal heritage.
From the vibrant clatter of clubs on horseback to the serene beauty of the horses in the palace itself, each scene unfolds like a cinematic epic, showcasing Dean Freeman's vision. The campaign is an ode to tradition, royalty and not least this unique sport.
Padmanabh Singh started playing polo professionally in England in 2015 and was a member of the Guards Polo Club. In 2017, he led the Indian national team at Hurlingham Park, which was the first time an Indian team had visited the stadium in over 70 years. His grandfather had led the last successful Indian polo tour of the UK.
Singh is the great-grandson of Man Singh II, the last reigning maharaja of the principality of Jaipur. Singh's mother is the only daughter of the late Bhawani Singh, an Indian soldier, hotelier and son of Man Singh II. After Bhawani Singh's death in 2011, his grandson, 12-year-old Padmanabh Singh, was unofficially appointed ‘Maharaja of Jaipur’.
Dean Freeman has worked with some of the biggest icons of Indian cinema, including Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez, as well as global stars such as Emily Ratajkowski and Bradley Cooper.
