Global fintech REVOLUT and the agency Anomaly have launched ‘The Salary’ together, their second collaborative campaign. For the visuals photographed by Nick Meek in Ireland, RECOM generated illuminated, hanging typography signage.
‘The Salary’, photographed in an abandoned bank branch in Ireland, captures the essence of the old banking systems of the country. The dull, outdated and disused background is paired with a simple but effective line: ‘The Salary Wants Out of Old Banks’. The illuminated typography gives the impression that the content is trying to escape its abandoned and archaic surroundings.
“We want to jolt people into asking why on earth they keep their income in a traditional bank – it costs them money, makes access difficult, and provides little financial or personal reward. By shooting this campaign in a disused branch of a traditional bank, we are making a powerful statement about the future of banking, helping people understand that Revolut is the best place for their salary to grow,” says Camilla Harrisson, CEO of Anomaly London.
