For his client AMAN, Robert RIEGER c/o EMEIS DEUBEL traveled to India where he photographed the hotel Aman-I-Khas in Ranthambore and five-star hotel Amanbagh in Rajasthan.
Located at the edge of the Ranthambore National Park is the luxury hotel Aman-i-Khás, with a total of only ten luxurious tents – directly adjacent to the world-famous tiger reserve. Set amid the dense bushes of the Indian jungle in inimitable elegance is this luxury safari camp. The tents are erected again each year and only remain standing throughout the seven months of the safari season. Nestled at the threshold the reserve, this tented camp offers guests unparalleled privacy and daily safaris on which they can explore the wildlife of the nature reserve.
With its ancient forts and tiger-inhabited wilderness, Rajasthan is renowned for its beauty, nowhere more concentrated than in the Aravalli Hills in the garden oasis that is Amanbagh. Once the site of royal tiger hunts, today the rose-hued cupolas and vaulted entrances of the resort’s Mughal-inspired structures soar from the greenery – utterly peaceful and consummately private.
