“Never thought I’d be good at hand modeling – but blurred or sharp, it’s fine! For Scholz & Friends and McDonald’s Deutschland LLC, we photographed a very spicy campaign to promote the Spicy Nuggets, one that makes you eyes water.
The challenge was not only to keep the nuggets looking beautiful throughout but also to produce all the effects you see in the pictures (blurring, distortion, bokeh bubbles, etc.) physically in-camera, in real time. Everything was actually created on set like this. I love the result!
