SALLYHATESWING photographs ‘Locked in the 70s’ for lens manufacturer TAMRON EUROPE

The name TAMRON stands for optical products which combine technology and creativity at the highest level. Tamron Europe GmbH, headquartered in Cologne, is responsible for Tamron’s business in Europe. SALLYHATESWING photographed the commissioned work ‘Locked in the 70s’, which the company presents us here (make-up: Melanie Bulu @NinaKlein, styling: Shima Khazei @bornthiswayagency, models: Nais & Daniel @mostwantedmodels).

“We thought about what a lockdown could have been like in the 70s: We’re kept inside although life is out there. We’re struggling, we’re complaining – but at the same time, we are victims of our time. For this editorial, we imagined a lockdown – without the comfort of our smartphones, Netflix and PlayStations. What would a lockdown in the 70s look like? If not for all of our modern entertainment systems – what would get us through the day?”
