As part of the see Conference in Wiesbaden, initiated by him, Rui CAMILO c/o HAUSER FOTOGRAFEN photographed several speakers, including set designers Alicia Martin and Netty Chapman (Barbie Film). Even though they missed out on the coveted Barbie trophy this time, Alicia Martin and Netty Chapman (set decoration and production design team) did take home an Oscar nomination for the Best Production though – as they had for ‘Sherlock Holmes’ and ‘Abbitte’.
‘Gaining Knowledge Through Visualization’ – is at the heart of the see Conference, one of the largest design conferences in Germany with more than 800 participants. Since 2006, the conference has championed the power of visualization in understanding data and information, and that increasingly within the context of sustainable concepts. The conference combines disciplines such as design, art, and architecture while bringing together creatives from the areas of business, journalism, sociology, philosophy, and technology – to visualize the impact of our behavior on future generations and inspire motivation to take action.
