Ali Barjesteh, founder of MOTO and former European BMX champion, developed a completely new type of platform pedal based on his extensive biking experience.
Even before a team of designers, mechanical engineering, and aviation experts collaborated on the distinctive MOTO pedal, they were hammering, filing, and baking in their own kitchen – until one evening, still steaming hot, the first MOTO pedal was pulled out of their own oven.
