Jung and Matt wanted to provide client AMG with a new brand image. The vehicle used for this purpose was a SL Cabrio, which was photographed by Holger Wild with varnishing reflections on pure white.
CD Jan Rexhausen and AD Ricardo Distefano catered the final polish with their crisp headlines. Flavouredgreen was in charge of the post production. The work can be seen both attached, and in the new issue of PLAYBOY.
The abbreviation AMG stands for the name of the company's founder Hans Werner Aufrecht, his companion Erhard Melcher and for Großaspach, Aufrecht's place of birth. Founded in 1967 as an assembler of racing car engines, soon the holders of Mercedes Limousines queued up at AMG and asked for PS boasting engines for their luxurious vehicles. AMG has belonged to Daimler AG since 1999 and trades under the company name of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
