Simon Bailly c/o SEPIA illustrates for BRAND EINS/Thema in comic strip style on the digitalization of companies, about globalization, new starts, system attacks, and Chinese science fiction

Simon Bailly c/o SEPIA is an illustrator from Lyon. Since graduating from the École Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine in 2015, he has worked for international publishers and companies. Simon draws inspiration from Hergé’s comic book world and 1970s French cinema. He illustrates regularly for French newspaper Libération with his subtle humor. Among his clients are also Hermès Paris, The New York Times, LA Times, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Wirtschaftswoche as well as publishing houses for children’s books. Simon likes to set his personal work in retro sci-fi worlds.

His aesthetic is also appreciated by the editors of BRAND EINS from Hamburg. This year, Simon Bailly is illustrating the magazine’s special issues on specific topics. The first is about digitalization in companies. And about globalization, new starts, system attacks, and Chinese science fiction. brandeins/thema is a joint project between brand eins and Statista. It is targeted at entrepreneurs and people with an entrepreneurial mindset. The industry report is published four times each year.
