‘Días’ - the monograph of Spanish Photographer Pia Riverola invites viewers on a journey resplendent with light and color to the beauty of nature and the pleasures of life (Loose Joints Publishing)
Pia Riverola’s poetic photography is an homage to the rich diversity of different cultures. Candid portraits, natural landscapes, street scenes or still life – her colorful images convey a deep empathy for her subjects and her surroundings. She captures moments with a dreamlike quality while reflecting her emotions through her photography, which evokes a feeling of nostalgia in her audiences. Pia lives in Mexico City, LA and Barcelona, photographing for clients such as Calvin Klein, Loewe, the NYT, and the Wall Street Journal, just to name a few.
