GoSee ART: BERNHEIMER CONTEMPORARY POP-UP @ POTSDAMER PLATZ presents Karol Bethke, Jan Kuck and Johannes Vetter – OPENING at 7pm on Thursday 31 January 2019

For years, Isabel Bernheimer and her agency Bernheimer Contemporary have combined the traditional and the contemporary and that not only innovatively but also upholding a consistently high standard, representing emerging artists who are extremely successful in their ambitions.

She is now presenting works by artists Johannes Vetter and Jan Kuck as well as unpublished works by artist Karol Bethke at her pop-up on Potsdamer Platz. Since her agency was founded in 2014, Isabel Bernheimer has organized pop-ups in extraordinary locations, both domestically and internationally.


A brief introduction to the exhibited artists:

KAROL BETHKE – artist of concrete art is represented in the following museum collections: National Gallery Berlin, Museum Ludwig Cologne, Wilhelm-Lehmbruck Museum Duisburg, Kunsthalle Nürnberg, and Berlinische Galerie. Anne Stephan, the lender of his estate, will be present.

JAN KUCK – The conceptual artist is looking forward to a very promising year with public space exhibitions in Munich and in San Francisco. Plus, he is preparing for a fantastic international film project. Jan will be present and will gladly tell you more.

JOHANNES VETTER – founder of the Ansbach Biennale, is constantly working between sculpture and painting. We gladly present you the thrilling discourse.
