The German National Soccer Team made an appearance in the new home uniform from adidas – which, of course, meant that the DFB needed new motifs for the various areas of application. For the campaign motifs of the ‘Mannschaft’, which is German for team, STUDIO IGNATOV portrayed the national players in a dark set. Studio Ignatov was responsible for the local coordination and production processes in close cooperation with the DFB. The license campaign was then sent to to various international partners and sponsors for multi-media publication in various areas of application. The DFB, aka the German Soccer Association, is the umbrella organization of 26 soccer associations in the Federal Republic of Germany, to which more than 25,000 soccer clubs belong. The headquarters of the non-profit organization is in Frankfurt am Main.
