From influencer to rapper to entrepreneur - Shirin David has already made an impressive journey. But for 29-year-old Shirin, it doesn't end there. She is already working on her next move: her own business empire. Peter RIGAUD c/o SHOTVIEW A.M. portrayed the ambitious young lady for the Forbes cover series.
With her own brands, such as her own iced tea and a new cosmetics line, Barbara Shirin Davidavicius, as she is called in real life, wants to build up her 'empire'. And FORBES has been with her from the very beginning: Shirin was already on the Forbes Under 30 list in 2020.
'The corporate structure today includes a holding company (Shirin David Holding GmbH) that manages all rights and holds a company for each business line. This includes the ice cream brand, which is located in Dirtea GmbH; the record label Juicy Money Records GmbH; the social media business is located in Shirin David Management GmbH. And now another company is being added: Shirin Beauty GmbH, which has already been founded and is 50% owned by Shirin David (via SD Cosmetics GmbH) and 50% by the owners of Katjes, Tobias Bachmüller and Bastian Fassin. Her own cosmetics line is to be launched in the spring,' we read on Forbes.
Shirin David was born in Hamburg in 1995 to a Lithuanian mother and an Iranian father and launched her YouTube channel in 2014. Today, she has long lived in Berlin, with a view of the TV tower from her desk.
