‘Lucid Dreaming’ - Haute Couture Special for Chinese PRESTIGE MAG by fashion & beauty photographer PER APPELGREN (Cologne & Berlin)
We are delighted to welcome internationally active fashion and beauty photographer PER APPELGREN here on GoSee. From his office in Cologne, its only a hop, skip and jump away from Paris, London, or Milan. Since February, he has had his own studio in Berlin – enabling him to be even more flexible for his clients. He is spending the winter season in Cape Town where he is still available for productions at the moment.
Raised in Northern Germany and Sweden, he adopted a keen sense for Scandinavian aesthetics and pure simplicity already at an early age. Before pursuing a photography career, he graduated with a degree in Business Administration and International Politics, but soon felt the need to express himself and his artistic vision behind the lens. For Per, photography is an aesthetic world to escape from reality. “That moment, when your vision and the universe collide for a great shot – it’s pure magic,” says Per Appelgren.
For the Chinese magazine PRESTIGE, Per photographed an haute couture special. The editorial entitled ‘Lucid Dreaming’ focuses on cutting-edge designs from several of the most renowned fashion houses in the world. The models are clad in ruched collars, butterfly embroidery and striking jewelry in looks styled by Creative Director and Editor-at-Large Alvin Goh.
