Designers, gems, celebrities, ideas, watches, and brand stories – are the topics of SOMETHING ABOUT ROCKS, the jewelry magazine chock full of news on everything that has anything to do with jewelry.
The spread presented here was photographed by Berlin resident Maximilian VIRGILI c/o LGA MANAGEMENT for London’s Something About Rocks Mag by founder and Editorial Director Ian Thorley, CEO of Something About Media.
Something About Rocks went digital in November 2021 and has been available in four print editions each year since 2023 : “The premise is to bridge the gap between high jewelry and fashion. The jewelry market is the fastest-growing sector in luxury. Something About Rocks features news, in-depth articles with the designers, celebrities and fashion shoots,” says Ian Thorley.
The agency Something About Media stands for content creators and creative storytellers and sees itself as an independent publisher of magazines, websites, films, and creative concepts : “We specialize in fashion and luxury, but we have also produced work for various lifestyle brands. For ten years, starting back in 2013, Something About Media was commissioned to design, produce and market a luxury supplement to the multi-awarded current affairs title THE WEEK.”
