Rui CAMILO c/o HAUSER FOTOGRAFEN photographed the DKMS Life campaign ‘Cancer does not take a break’ for TBWA Düsseldorf. Coming together for his camera were such prominent supporters as bestselling author Charlotte Link, Angelina Kirsch, Palina Rojinski, the sparkling Riccardo Simonetti, Sylvie Meis or ‘Celebrity Shopping Queen’ Guido Maria Kretschmer.
We read on the DKMS website : “A lot has changed in times of Corona – but cancer hasn’t. Each year, 492,000 people are afflicted with new cases of cancer. They fight against a life-threatening disease while facing a novel virus at the same time. They live in fear for their lives and go into isolation for months on end. Their partners are not allowed to accompany them to the doctor, and their mothers can’t give them a hug. They no longer have a regular life. Corona brings many things to a standstill. But cancer doesn’t take a break…” The #Cancerdoesn’ttakeabreak campaign stands for solidarity with people suffering from cancer during the Corona crisis. Every donation helps.
