08.04.2025 • Iconic pleats remain the signature of this trendsetting brand, with Betina DU TOIT c/o LGA MGMT once again behind the camera. The latest PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE collection '25 is showcased here on gosee.news.

Issey Miyake’s pleated clothing has captivated us since 1988, when he first introduced it into his collection. Five years later, “Pleats Please” became an independent line and his lasting legacy in the fashion world following his death in 2022. The collection merges movement and elegance: Miyake invited William Forsythe’s Frankfurt Ballet group to dance in his pleats, where men and women wore the same garments, moving freely and individually. This philosophy continues to influence the brand's runway shows and photos, as demonstrated once again by BETINA DU TOIT’s current campaign (models: Akolde Meen, Edwina Preston & Sculy Mejia, casting by Barbara Blanchard).
