Famous American tennis player Stan Smith is an icon of the tennis world and the namesake of the famous sneakers. Ever since the 1970s, it’s hard to imagine the tennis court without them. With ‘Stan Smith, Forever’, ADIDAS ORIGINALS is presenting a sustainable update of its classic shoe which celebrated its 40th anniversary only three years ago. The Stan Smith shoe has hardly changed since 1973. But now the time has come for a change – in the way they are manufactured. The collection received a recycled upper as part of the PRIMEGREEN series which is made from Primegreen, high-performance recycled materials placed on a sole made of recycled rubber.
Since 1993, Servulo has been creating his unique style in Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, NYC, Berlin, and México City, collaborating with icons from the fashion and music industries such as Austra, Ellen Allien, Mykki Blanco, Patrick Wolf, Peaches, Verushka V. Lehndorff, M.I.A, to name a few. Servulo draws his inspiration from traveling and working globally while observing the aesthetics of people, tribes, music, cinema, and art. His work for clients such as Prada, Loewe, Adidas, Louis Vuitton, Levi’s, etc. has been published in Wonderland, Visionaire, I-D Magazine, Dazed And Confused, Vogue, Vanity-Fair, and Nylon among others.
