Silhouette is launching the world's first eyewear collection using a novel, "bio-circular" material derived from organic waste from agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture. SPX Green+ reduces the ecological footprint by using 100% renewable energy. Compared to the production of conventional materials derived from fossil fuels, the new bio-circular material reduces CO₂ emissions by 60%.
"Consumer behavior has fundamentally changed. Sustainable products and services are the focus when purchasing. The Clear Sky collection is our response to climate change," says Michael Schmied, CMO and grandson of the founders of the Silhouette Group.
Model Arizona Muse, who has made a name for herself as a globally recognized activist for sustainability and environmental protection in the fashion industry, is the face of the new "The World We Want to See" campaign.
