In the commercial by Director Annegret von Feiertag, PARSHIP is advertising with a trip to Lovetopia – an AI-generated world ruled by love. “Cupid shows you just how fabulous this world is: a world in which we celebrate diversity and everyone has equal opportunities. A world in which it doesn’t matter where someone comes from and in which we protect our planet Earth together. Wouldn’t that be nice? What about you? Have you been nice today? Join us and spread some love…. After all, Cupid can’t do it all by himself!”
Except for the scenes created in the green screen studio of DFP DOCK11 with the protagonist Cupid, all video content as well as further visuals were generated and/or stylized using AI. The videos were created in cooperation with the AI specialists from 27 Kilometer Entertainment.
The director on her experiences with AI : “I started specializing in creating stills and moving images using a wide range of powerful AI tools. I play around with Runway, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Kaiber, Studio D-ID and more, to explore the creative possibilities that AI has to offer. I’m passionate about leveraging these technologies to enhance my artistic vision and deliver unique visual experiences. I am thrilled about the exciting ways in which AI can be utilized in the world of filmmaking.”
Annegret von Feiertag came from a background in film and TV commercials spanning more than a decade – and that was even before she began her career as a director; working in roles of creative freelancer, art director, stylist, mood scout, illustrator, and motion designer to name just a few. In 2017, she then started creating and using her own style of moving images. Starting with small favors for befriended bands, she made her way to bigger productions – until her music videos were clicked millions of times. Then it was obvious: this job is fun!
Short tongue-in-cheek stories are exactly her thing. Planned sequences and beautiful color combinations are meanwhile her favorite pastimes, but Annegret also feels the beat when it comes to perky edits. Annegret is on fire for her work and has totally fallen in love with the craft of filmmaking.
She is a member of DRCT, a directors’ association representing the professional interests of commercial and branded content directors in Germany.
