The beer brand CORONA is famous for inspiring the world to reconnect with nature. As part of its new platform celebrating golden moments of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the iconic beer, together with the athletes of Paris 2024, is emphasizing the crucial role of the ocean in creating precisely such golden moments in our lives.
The campaign is comprised of two immersive films, in which viewers are invited to share golden moments in nature with Olympic surfer Tatiana Weston-Webb and kitesurfer Martin Dolenc.
“Surfing in a barrel is like being on the edge of life and death at the same time. You come out of that black hole and everything is golden. It’s a special type of golden moment where you’re completely connected to something that will never exist again,” Olympic surfer Tatiana Weston-Webb tells us.
“Working with two Olympic athletes like Tatiana and Martin was an inspiration. I love telling human stories so to be able to document their dedication to their sports, their connection to the environment and their commitment to the welfare of the ocean was a dream come true. Corona and its partnership with Mission Blue is something I’d like to see more brands doing. We all share a responsibility to protect our planet and our oceans, whether that’s as individuals or corporations,” says Director Ian Derry.

Julie looks back on more than 20 years of experience as executive producer, photo editor, art buyer, and visual director for various clients, platforms, publications, and agencies. Stops along the way include Mother London where she headed art buying, and she has been with Revolt now for two years.
