2AGENTEN now represents Laura MARTIN, an illustrator from Buenos Aires who currently lives and works in Berlin. She graduated as a graphic designer from the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in editorial design and illustration.
With nearly a decade of experience in the industry, Laura has worked extensively as a layout and editorial designer for children's books at publishing houses in Argentina. Although she primarily illustrates digitally, she always keeps paper and pencils close to make sketches, maintaining a strong connection to the analog world.
Laura draws her main inspiration from warm colors and the simple, everyday moments of life. Alongside her illustration work, she runs her own outdoor drawing workshop in Berlin, sharing her passion for art with others. When she’s not drawing, she takes piano lessons, listens to her favorite records, watches films, explores new cafés around the city, or simply enjoys spending time outdoors.
“Today, I am celebrating my 4th year living in this incredible, magical city full of contrasts, secrets, and history. A city that has deeply touched me. Unique, no matter how you look at it. I am lucky enough to know other European capitals, and none is like Berlin. It has taught me things I never could have imagined, and continues to teach me things I never thought I could do or feel. Thank you, Berlin, for these incredibly beautiful years and for allowing me to discover you a little more every day,” Laura Martin says on IG.
