Dominik Mentzos photographed eight motifs for client LUFTHANSA A-Plus. The production focused on the extension of the Frankfurt terminal. He carried out the shoot in the new gate areas as well as in the three new lounges.
The new terminal section was finally completed in autumn after four years of construction work and is accessible exclusively to Lufthansa and its partners. Since ‘A-Plus’ was launched, Frankfurt airport can deal with a further six million customers a year. All US flights are channelled through the new A area, which lowers the minimum transfer time between flight connections to and from Europe from 60 to 45 minutes. Another advantage is that a much higher number of planes are now able to park directly at the terminal building and do not have to be parked on the apron.
The agency in charge was Wunderman with CD Cornel Frey. Ula Wawel was the stylist on set and Andrea Leicher was in charge of hair and make-up.
