MICHAEL MUELLER celebrates the ‘Beauty of Bad Weather’ – an outdoor catalogue shoot for Schöffel outdoor, ski and sport apparel in a rough landscape under real conditions
“Like we have for several years now, we produced the Summer catalogue as well as the campaign motifs for outdoor clothing manufacturer SCHÖFFEL. This time in continuous rain,” Michael tells GoSee. “The rain poured down on our jackets, it was extremely chilly and the mountains were shrouded in fog. Bad weather in the mountains is rough, full of atmosphere but also quite beautiful. Even though bright blue skies are what one hopes for in most photo productions, it often turns out differently than planned. Bad weather immerses landscapes in entirely new moods, it challenges models and photographers alike and delivers a very authentic result in the end.”
Schöffel Sportbekleidung GmbH, founded in 1804 in Bavarian Schwabmünchen as a textile company and operated there still today as a medium-sized family enterprise, is among the European market leaders in the areas of functional outdoor sport and ski apparel.
