PORSCHE is celebrating the 25th birthday of its Roadster family with an anniversary model: the Boxster 25. For the anniversary Boxster, Victor Jon GOICO photographed the model while taking a road trip on the picturesque coast of Croatia, the pearl of the Adriatic Sea. Post production was taken care of by RECOM in Stuttgart.
The limited edition of 1,250 cars worldwide is based on the 294 kW-strong (400 PS) GTS 4.0 model with a 4.0-liter, flat-six engine. It references numerous design features of the Boxster concept car that heralded the success story of the open-top two-seater at the 1993 Detroit Motor Show.
Among the most striking features of the special model is the reinterpreted color Neodyme : This copper-like shimmering brown tone provided a thrilling contrast to the basic GT silver metallic finish on the pioneering 1993 show car. With style befitting of a Porsche and entirely in the spirit of the historical original, the special model combines a Bordeaux leather interior with a red soft-top. Details are available via PORSCHE and further works by Victor can be seen on his website.
