Alyssa Pizer Management is delighted to welcome new entry Spencer WELLS, an American photographer, filmmaker and writer. His work explores the relationship between people and the natural environment to create dynamic compositions for clients such as Amazon Fashion, Bergdorf Goodman, Drake’s, Etsy, Mr. Porter, Next UK, Orvis or Wallpaper.
Spencer Wells was born and raised in Wisconsin and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Human Geography. Wells began documenting the lives of his friends and cohorts in photos and videos during his teenage years. After spending nearly a decade in New York City entrenched in the commercial photo industry, he ventured west to settle in Marin County with his wife and son, where he circled back to the beauty of nature.
Here on GoSee, we present you a glimpse at his portfolio and a lookbook video ‘Drake’s in Upstate New York’: “Over a few bright days in early spring, we found ourselves in Saratoga Springs. A thoroughbred horse town, a gambling town (see previous), and a water town (it sits on mineral springs that are said to have healing properties, which is nice). Heading out of New York City, we brought together the Drake’s Canal Street team and some of the London contingent, including Creative Director Michael Hill, to spend a bit of time in the beautiful surrounds of Saratoga and the rural Catskills. A chance to see the sights – the dense forest, waterfalls, hiking trails, wooden cabins and diners that feel stuck in time in the best way possible – and test out our patchwork fleece, new styles of jersey and hiking t-shirts, heavyweight linen chores, cotton chinos and a choice edit of Epperson Mountaineering tote bags and outdoor backpacks.”
