Snow, snow and so much more snow. Plus icy cold temperatures and sunshine like straight out of a picture postcard. In other words, the perfect conditions for a spur-of-the-moment round of skijoring on the Bilster Berg circuit. Along for the slippery ride: skier Christoph Friedel, Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing Driver Luca Engstler as well as the new Hyundai Tucson and i20 Coupé WRC. Plus, PETER SCHREIBER, who accompanied the winter fun with his camera (Creative Director: Michael Köckritz).
The result: 1000 photos, two 2-minute videos, several social media takes and an article for the latest ramp issue – and, of course, all in made-to-measure versions for the Hyundai channels.
“Shooting this editorial for ramp at minus 22 degrees was a lot of fun and definitely a challenge not only for me, but also for the skier behind the cars! The first car was a Hyundai World Rallye i20 R5 ‘20, and the other was the newest Hyundai Tucson. Chasing them around the snow-covered racetrack at around 100 km/h was wild and icy…”
