7 Seas Productions: produces for NIKON on French Riviera and travels to skyscraper-city Monaco for MERCEDES-BENZ
New York based sports photographer Jörg BADURA c/o GoSee member SEVERIN WENDLER shot the new NIKON campaign off the coast of Cannes in sunny Southern France. NIKON introduced a new waterproof model and the proof was in the pictures. The shoot was suitably ‘splashy’ which was fortunate for Jörg and the team as the waters became very choppy after a storm went by. Perfect conditions for this campaign picture.
7 Seas was responsible for sourcing the high performance sail boat - not an easy thing to get during race and competition season. The 7 Seas team eventually found the perfect match, an offshore cruiser-racer called 'The Antidote'. We have the campaign image and a few making-of shots for you here on GoSee.
7 Seas Productions also worked with MERCEDES-BENZ and DOUGLAS for the launch of their perfume line ‘Mercedes Benz’. Swedish photographer Magnus Reed’s idea was it to give it a ‘Breakfast at Tiffany´s’ flair, instead of using the perhaps more predictable visual chic of Mercedes limousines. The locations for the shoot were ‘skyscrapercity Monaco’ and the heliport of the Vista Palace Hotel in Roquebrune.
