Anke Luckmann showcases the versatile potential of the Gybow system at Eisbach Studio in Munich – impressively brought to life with a British Racing Green BMW M8 Convertible, generously provided by BMW for this personal project.
Using a range of backplates from Anke’s own archive, entirely new and striking visual compositions were created. Even scenarios that are nearly impossible to capture in real life – such as a car speeding through a steep curve – were made possible through Gybow’s creative capabilities. “And when you completely let go of the reins, entirely new visual worlds emerge,” says the transportation photographer about the project.
The unique visual finish was shaped by postproduction artist Tom Cordes, aka Halblabs, who brought a fine analog sensitivity to the final look – supported by BMW, Gybow, and the Eisbach Studio.
