INTERVIEW
Your name is not very common, where are you from? I was born in Poland. When I was seven years old all of my family moved to Hannover, Germany. I spent my childhood there. I came to Barcelona when I was 23 where I now live with my son Leonardo.

What inspired you to become a makeup artist & hairstylist? I have always been interested in beauty and fashion. I remember finding a Versace catalogue at home, ripping out the pages and pinning them up in my room. As a teenager I started to practice on my mother, sister and friends. But it wasn't until 2004 that I decided to make a real profession of what started out as a hobby.

What is your signature look? I like to make the skin glow, look healthy and real. Rarely anybody leaves my chair without a subtle contouring and highlighting. Talking hair, I like the done undone look, a little volume and abundance is always a great idea. I love to create glamorous and feminine looks but I also like the simple, clean and boyish style. I guess that contrast is the signature. I don't marry any look.

Who are your clients? I have worked for brands such as Replay, Puma, Nike, Mercedes, Lexus, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Mango, Davidoff, Birkenstock, Fujitsu and Siemens among others. My work has also been published in magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Glamour, Telva, L'Officiel, Grazia, Cosmopolitan, Men's Health and many more.

What do you like most about your job? I love the teamwork. The fact of working with a great, fun and down to earth team. I get to know so many people and places, it's never the same and always rewarding.

Have you worked with any celebrities? Yes, I have worked with Irina Shayk, Alessandra Ambrosio, Antonio Banderas, Elsa Pataky, Andrés Velencoso, Leo Messi, Neymar, Laura Pausini, Julio Iglesias Jr., Amaia Salamanca, Nieves Alvarez, Eugenia Silva, Martina Klein, Loles León, Alejandro Sanz, Bimba Bosé and many others mostly from the Spanish territory.

Any makeup or hair tricks? When you feel like you have put on too much makeup, give it a little time and make sure you sweat a little, the makeup needs to melt with your skin to look natural. Clip your dry hair into a banana, spray it with hairspray and leave for an hour to achieve soft beachy waves.

What do you do when you are not working? I like running, surfing, yoga, dancing and eating out.
