‘The Beauty of Data’ - an AI editorial by PATRICK SCHWALB for J'N'C

Patrick realized two editorials for J'N'C’s AI Issue: one is about design development in collaborations between J'N'C and textile companies, and the second is purely a fashion editorial. In an interview with Cheryll, Editor-in-Chief of J'N'C, Patrick talks about the significance of AI and the influence it might have on how we work in the future, our professions and its possible impact on society.

Since 1999, the internationally oriented magazine J'N'C has been synonymous with competent and consistent reporting from the progressive fashion segment, concentrating on the communication needs of the contemporary market. Whether manufacturers, retailers, fashion aficionados or influencers – with regular columns in every issue, J'N'C Magazine is comprehensive but also straight to the point.

PATRICK SCHWALB photographs a social media campaign for VETSAK beanbags & accessories : ‘Furniture Made in Europe’

Future vintage meets laid-back. Patrick SCHWALB photographed a social media campaign for the company VETSAK, specializing in the production of comfy beanbags, couches and armchairs. The shoot took place at a finca in Ibiza.

The bestselling beanbags are designed for either one person or as a family beanbag. Coffee spills, wine disasters and messy dinners in front of the TV won’t harm your comfy beanbag in the least. All vetsak covers are machine-washable at 30°.

Vetsak products are meanwhile chilling in homes the world over, but their roots will always be in Woodstock, Cape Town. What started out in 2012 as a humble beanbag company, has organically grown into a global e-commerce furniture brand.

‘Muse’ - PATRICK SCHWALB photographs the cover story for FACES Magazine

PATRICK SCHWALB photographed a cover story in Paris for Swiss FACES Magazine. In front of his camera for the spread by the name of ‘Muse’ was model Lisa Helene, who was styled by Johanna Bouvier.

Prada in Milan was in fact so fond of the shoot they even asked if a few copies of the magazine could perhaps be sent to their headquarters in Milan. “Totally cool.” Patrick Schwalb commented. The spread appeared in the September ’23 issue of the magazine.
