featured by Esther Haase : Revisited : ESTHER HAASE photographs the GRAND TOURER for Three20pm, the media brand of RAMP and BENTLEY

A fresh take on the #Bentley way of life. Inspired by @bentleymotors, passionately curated by @ramp.space. ESTHER HAASE photographed model Katharina Siekmannas as colorful as usual for Three20pm, the Instagram media brand of RAMP and BENTLEY.

“The Batur heralds the start of a seminal, future-facing era for Bentley, so to partner with ramp.space GmbH & Co KG to take it to new audiences on social media felt like a natural fit. The fact that we gained two awards in the process makes us feel incredibly proud of this achievement and solidifies our approach.” Angelos Sfakianakis, Bentley’s Global Social Media Manager.

So why is the media co-op named Three20pm? It was like this – we meet Woolf Barnato, the ultimate Bentley Boy in Cannes in March 1930. At a dinner party on a yacht, the race car driver and bon vivant bets 200 British pounds that he can beat the famous Blue Train in a race to Calais with ease in a Bentley Speed Six.

Easy for him to say. But did he do it? The moment the Blue Train leaves the station the next day, Barnato and his co-pilot, amateur golfer Dale Bourne, leave the Carlton Bar in Cannes and head out in the Bentley Speed Six. More than 570 miles is traveled by Barnato and Dale on the way to Calais in the Speed Six. With an average speed of 43.43mph – on the dusty and rough roads of the time – it’s an impressive performance.

So impressive indeed that Barnato ultimately arrived in Calais so much earlier than the train that he decided, without further ado, to keep driving all the way to London. After crossing the channel on a steamboat, being waved through customs, and having driven nearly 700 miles, he finally parked his Speed Six in front of the Conservative Club on St. James’s Street. Time of arrival: 3:20 pm.

The spread took home Bronze at the Astrid Awards in 2023 in the category Instagram Reels.

featured by David Breun : DAVID BREUN : A wild ride through the Munich night with the BMW M4 / M8 Competition for the cover spread in the new RAMP MAG #57 – ‘Are You Crazy?’

DAVID BREUN photographed two BMW M models – the BMW M4 and BMW M8 Competition for RAMP magazine in Munich. Also part of it were Editor-in-Chief Michael Köckritz and Wladimir Kaminer. The topic of the new ramp #57 – Geht’s noch? Which is German for everything from an expression of annoyance like ‘Are you crazy?’ to a caring question such as ‘Can you keep going?’. We present you the dynamic visuals here on GoSee.

Wladimir Kaminer, German author and columnist of Soviet heritage, whose collections of short stories in ‘Military Music’ and ‘Russian Disco’ have made him famous even beyond the borders of Germany, published the essay ‘Herr Kaminer drives an M and thinks about things’ about taking a ride through the night for the magazine : “I met ramp Editor-in-Chief Michael in Munich. Waiting for us were a couple of beautiful cars. BMW M GmbH was celebrating its 50th anniversary and gave us two of the company’s gems for the super-super-super test, an M4 and an M8. Back then, 50 years ago, the engineers from BMW thought about how they could obtain an MOT approval for a race car. Which is, I guess, how the new brand M was created…”

featured by BEN & MARTIN : THISISNOT.LA❌ featuring dancer Flockey Ocscor ~ directed by BAM

“50% documentary and 50% fiction, this short film about protagonist Flockey Ocscor leads us through his way of diving into his creative mindset as a dancer. The viewer is taken on a journey including the endless inspiration he explores, while his perception of reality is changed with every slight influence, always creating something totally different with every move. It’s him standing in his old shoes and riding new waves. Time after time.” director and photographer duo Ben & Martin, aka BAM, tell us about their recently finished film.

The two explain : “The title ‘This Is Not L.A.’ is a sarcastic allusion to the dazzling and wild world in the city of Los Angeles, creating a discrepancy between his reality and his desires. Since it was his creative path which led him to L.A, Flockey has, of course, a strong inspirational bond to the city. But as he states, it’s about yourself, the people, the vibe, and the atmosphere. It’s the moment that leads you so you don’t have to think about anything. Because this is a never-ending story of something unique in the making.”

Post production was in the hands of POP., Hamburg.
