AVENGER TEAM is a full-service creative agency. Since 2023, Sylvia Weinmann, together with her partner Kathrin Baumann in the FILM sector, has been continuously expanding their film network. Initially starting with 4 photographers, the agency now represents several photographers, directors, as well as beauty and styling experts – the Avenger Team. Personal contact and a strong sense of teamwork are highly valued within the agency. The team is passionate about what they do, and they are deeply committed to their work. AVENGER TEAM provides complete production management for both photo and film. In addition to offering very personal support for their creatives, they handle the entire production process, including organization, booking, briefing, and overseeing subcontractors. dippy bird management, based in Frankfurt, Germany, is a representative agency for young filmmakers and creatives. The founder, Anne Oldenburg, has been working as a commercial producer since 1999. Before she started her career as a freelance producer in 2006, she worked for well-known production companies with a focus on international projects. Having been educated as an advertising manager at Publicis in Frankfurt, she further studied Marketing and Communication in Wiesbaden and Art Direction at Miami Ad School in Miami. Our objective is to look after our dippy birds so they can focus on being creative. This way, we build up young talent and help experienced creatives to diversify. What we do is support and maintain communication and networking between clients and creatives. Negotiating fees and conditions, securing deals and maintaining networks are our everyday activities. On request, we can scout creatives for national and international special needs. Our consultations and other services are free for all agencies and production companies. Fat Fred's is a commercial, film and photography production company based in Amsterdam providing representation for national and international directors and photographers. Fat Fred's also serves as a production service company.

Petra Sauer - Before Petra joined gesas.management as a partner in 2015, she had the opportunity to gain a thorough grounding in the (commercial) film industry. Her initial experience of the film business came in the area of post-production at ARRI TV. Afterwards she followed the classic career path from production assistant to floor manager, production manager and producer at notable commercial film production companies such as Hager Moss Film, Roman Kuhn, Hochkant and REM as well as at TV and motion picture production companies.

Following the birth of her son she left the production side of the business and got involved in directing and talent scouting as head of the directors’ department at TwinFilm, which also led to the establishment of many friendly and long-standing contacts and relationships with further commercial film production companies, feature film producers and other film-makers.

 Petra and Gesa got to know and appreciate one another at TwinFilm where they formed an unbeatable team, and they are sure to do so once again … Having also spent a few years in the USA, Petra now lives south of Munich with her family and horse.

The photographers’ agent celebrated her 25th anniversary in March 2026 - a wonderful occasion to take a brief look back. Marlene Ohlsson began her career at the Hamburg-based advertising agency Economia before moving to Paris for several years. There, she became familiar with the market as a casting director, producer, and photo assistant, including time at the legendary Pin Up Studios. After returning to Hamburg, she worked as a studio manager before taking the leap into self-employment as an agent.

Her love for Paris has always stayed with her. For many years, she has represented international photographers and, alongside clients in Germany, regularly works with French clients in the City of Love - and above all, the city of fashion. In Paris, she exchanges ideas with art buyers, editors, producers, and photographers.

“Despite the globalization of the industry, French culture is very different from Germany,” Marlene tells us. “In Paris, I always become a little bit Parisian.” She considers all the characteristics of a Parisian described in former model Caroline de Maigret’s book How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are completely natural and not at all absurd. However, once she touches down at Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel Airport, she switches back into Hanseatic mode. “In Paris, you have to work much more flexibly and get used to constant last-minute changes. In return, you get better food, more chic fashion, breathtaking exhibitions, and countless inspiring visual impressions that you need in order to stay visually up to date.”

Marlene Ohlsson has accompanied the photography duo Billy & Hells for 20 years, and her partnerships with other photographers tend to last decades rather than just a few years. Her portfolio includes international advertising photographers such as Tom Nagy, Dimitri Daniloff, Armin Zogbaum, Florian Schüppel, Dylan Don, Heather Favell, Paul Bellaart, and Roberto Badin, as well as trend-focused fashion photographers like Patrick Houi, Jette Stolte, and Hördur Ingason.

Even after 25 years, Marlene remains passionate about high-quality, contemporary photography. Every production is a new challenge, and she particularly enjoys short-notice productions - because fewer cooks spoil the broth.

Organization and production are Marlene’s true passions. Together with Annika Bersch, who has been part of the agency for 13 years as Head of Production, the two form an unbeatable team. They are supported by Ms. Schneider, who is responsible for the complex structuring of usage rights and licensing fees, trainee Marie Nordmann, accountant Maren Sturm, and web and content manager Peter Wiese.

Does she have any advice for young photographers? Marlene recommends constantly questioning yourself and continually refining both your craft and your portfolio. The market demands new photographers, new styles, and fresh perspectives. Only those who consistently face the challenges of the market will be able to work successfully over long periods of time. Despite the flood of low-cost imagery from e-commerce studios, Marlene hopes there will always be photography lovers who appreciate a great photographer with a distinctive style and strong craftsmanship. Fortunately, that is still the case today - and we are keeping our fingers crossed for the next 25 years.

Norma Quinto - A specialist in fashion marketing and communications for more than two decades, Norma Quinto is managing director of Berlin-based consultancy Quinto GmbH, an upstart firm helping a range of brands and artists realize their full potential. Quinto covered Europe’s denim and activewear markets for trade publication WWD upon her relocation to Germany. In New York, she operated Quinto + Company, a marketing, public relations and fashion-show production company from 1993 to 2010. Its client roster ranged from American designer Bibhu Mohapatra and Dutch lingerie specialist Marlies Dekkers to Marc Jacobs, Marthe + Francois Girbaud, Mavi Jeans and many luxury brands. In 1991, she gained her entre into fashion as publicist at Dolce & Gabbana and also did a brief stint at the Council of Fashion Designers of America, CFDA.
