featured by 70seven GmbH & Co KG : ‘Feel Heard, Feel Seen’ – the UGG Fashion & Pride campaign by Steve MARAIS c/o 70SEVEN celebrates queer celebrities and collective visibility

Steve MARAIS c/o 70SEVEN photographed UGG Europe’s 2024 Pride campaign ‘Feel Heard, Feel Seen’, honoring the various intersections of LGBTQ+ Pride. UGG® has joined forces with the iconoclastic comedian and author ALOK (they/them) to co-create the URSeen Collection for Pride 2024 – a tribute to the LGBTQ+ community.

The campaign celebrates the energy of German, French and British LGBTQ+ talent. With Lynks, John and Chiyo (The Divine), Stephanie (Switchboard LGBT+), Giselle Palmer, Ysel (Mag Jeunes LGBT+), Hungry, and Stella (Body Language), the initiative captures the inner workings of Queer Charities and Queer Nightlife.

ALOK : “My childhood was about hiding myself, having to cover up, disappear, to not draw attention to myself. So, so much of what I was trying to do in this collection with UGG is to take something audacious like courage and put it into a platform shoe and bodycon dress, so that when people are feeling a little timid, putting on these pieces can give you that sense of power.” Find out more about everyone who has been part of it on www.ugg.com and via KALTBLUT MAGAZINE.

Since the early days in SoCal surf shops, UGG has evolved into an international lifestyle brand that stands for durable quality and timeless design. “Be good to people. People power our product, our purpose, and our planet. We strive to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion for all. We advocate for our employees, our customers, our community, and beyond,” the company tells us.

featured by 70seven GmbH & Co KG : ‘Horseplay / Hemp Stories’ – photographed by Steve MARAIS c/o 70SEVEN for LAMPOON MAGAZINE

‘Horseplay / Hemp Stories’ by Steve MARAIS c/o 70SEVEN for LAMPOON MAGAZINE is an exploration of human connection as the ultimate expression of sustainability. In a frayed world, we tend to neglect our basic need for intimacy. We are constantly exposed to news of conflict and destruction. But what about our primal desire for harmony and each other?

Horses are magnificent and often fetishized creatures that symbolize strength and freedom. Likewise, we see models horsing around in the editorial clad in hemp clothing from Prototipo, a label dedicated to the manufacture of ethical luxury fashion. Interspersed here and there with nude equestrian interludes, but nothing out of the ordinary – after all, what could be more organic than biology itself; what more natural than free-spirited human relationships?

70seven is a full-service production company and artist management agency headquartered in Hamburg – specializing in photography and film in the areas of advertising, fashion & lifestyle : “Our main goal is to deliver bespoke sustainable production services to create unique content. We put together multidisciplinary teams and cooperate closely with brands, creatives, and advertising agencies to curate the finest collaborations for the job.” Afshin Shahinniya, 70seven.
