GERMANY’S NEXT TOP MODEL 2021 | Color Grading and Creative Retouch of a photographic shoot on a real location high above the roofs of Berlin
Germany’s Next Top Model usually does high-action shoots on complicated locations to challenge the models. This time the shoot was a night shoot with the model flying high above Berlin’s roofs in the cold winter. Sublime was asked to bring the dark background to life and integrate “popping” colors creating a dream-like scenery. © // 6 files show complete blog

A garden can be anywhere .... by Sublime Postproduction
Sublime Postproduction was commissioned to stage the lifestyle image to go with the TV campaign ‘A Garden Can Be Anywhere’. An angelic green house facade wrapped playfully in soft sunlight was created amid the dismal gray of big city life. The TV spot shows how meticulously the greenery was installed onto the wall. The spot documents the making of this elaborate campaign.

"In the leading roles are a gray house facade on a busy intersection plus a group of landscapers and stage designers who put together a spectacular installation on the gigantic surface of a scaffolding spanning all sides of the building. Over the course of nine days, the workers planted thousands of spring flowers, bushes, bamboo shrubs, and ivy vines – transforming the surface into an enormous garden.” Manuela Pauker, W&V © // 1 file show complete blog

To commemorate the end of the war on May 8th. ZDF has started a new 10-part documentary series “War and Holocaust - The German Abyss”. An attempt against historical oblivion.
Sublime was allowed to create a visual campaign of four final ads out of paper and people from current life situations.

The series is trying to address some reoccuring questions. How current is this topic nowadays? Could there be a repetition of history? Andreas Freitag and its sublime team have built a visual bridge between then and now, taking people from the present and placing them in the context of that time. The result is a shockingly modern world of images and a play of symbols.

Anyone who has not yet watched this documentary series on ZDFinfo should do it as soon as possible.
