TRUNK ARCHIVE is pleased to announce the exclusive representation of Nadav KANDER for worldwide image licensing. Nadav Kander holds a key position in contemporary photography, renowned for his portraiture and large-format landscapes.

Mr. Kander contributes frequently to such publications as Rolling Stone, The New York Times and The New Yorker among many others. The celebrated series of portraits, “Obama’s People”, photographed for The New York Times Magazine, was the largest portfolio of work by the same photographer ever showcased in a single issue. Mr. Kander has received numerous awards from the Art Director’s Club, the D&AD, the John Kobal Foundation and the Royal Photographic Society.

Other accolades include the Silver Photographer of the Year Award at the 2008 International Photo Festival in Lianzhou, China, International Photographer of the Year at the 7th Annual Lucie Awards and winner of the prestigious Prix Pictet Earth 2009, for his Yangtze, The Long River series.

Later this month, Mr. Kander will be exhibiting at the National Portrait Gallery in London as part of their Road to 2012 project, featuring a series of portraits commissioned by the museum to celebrate London’s 2012 Olympics. Bodies. 6 Women, 1 Man., a monograph featuring thirty of Mr. Kander's previously unseen images, has been published by Hatje Cantz this Fall.
