From tired to magic - Christian Lohfink photographed the current McCafé campaign for McDonald’s Germany

In collaboration with the agency Scholz & Friends, Christian Lohfink created the current McCafé campaign for McDonald’s Germany. Nadine Gottwald was the Creative Director, and Natasha van Velsen handled the styling.

Drinks as an expression of personal identity – that's the premise of McDonald's Germany's new marketing campaign, "The new McCafé Drinks: For your individual lifestyle moment." The campaign features a vibrant color palette (lots of pink, yellow, and neon colors) combined with a modernized McCafé logo and playful typography.

And instead of relying solely on traditional posters, the campaign heavily utilizes TikTok and Instagram. For example, at launch, elaborate PR boxes in the form of giant McCafé cups were sent to influencers to generate the viral "unboxing" and taste-testing videos so popular with young people.

The rollout was accompanied by aggressive trial coupons in the MyMcDonald's app (e.g., promotional prices like €3.49 at launch) to lure customers directly into the restaurants.

'Prom' - Miriam Lindthaler photographs and films the smart and stylish kids' editorial for SCIMPARELLO magazine

Miriam Lindthaler directed the prom shoot, including a short fashion film, for SCIMPARELLO magazine. The magazine's name roughly translates to mischief, the carefree, imaginative, and sometimes wonderfully imperfect world of children—free from rigid rules and constraints.

The magazine combines photography and illustration with current trends in kids' fashion and explores the diverse facets of childhood. The photographs capture the magazine's playful and creative world.

Scimparello magazine is also a renowned international platform for children's fashion, creativity, and visual storytelling. It showcases current trends in children's fashion but also covers lifestyle, children's books, toys, and interior design.

It was founded in 2018 by stylist and influencer Petra Barkhof, who serves as editor-in-chief. Originally from Germany, she moved to Milan many years ago and began her career in adult fashion at the Italian publisher Condé Nast. She is supported by Creative Director Rossella Ferrario and Deputy Editor-in-Chief Enrico Fragale Esposito.

Lost in the Alps - Jan Eric Euler photographed for Crooked Motorcycles

When German custom engineering meets cinematic landscape photography – For the launch of the new “Alps Edition” kit from motorcycle manufacturer Crooked Motorcycles, photographer Jan Eric Euler created a visual series that blurs the lines between rugged nature and minimalist machine design.

For years, Crooked Motorcycles has been synonymous with radically clean custom builds. With the new, modular body kit, the creators once again demonstrate their flair for perfect proportions.

What makes the Alps Edition special: Crooked Motorcycles offers the modifications as a plug-and-play kit. From the extremely shortened fenders and the modified rear subframe to the state-of-the-art, clean lighting system – the conversion transforms the standard bike into a low-slung, perfectly balanced one-of-a-kind machine without sacrificing the Triumph's legendary off-road performance.

Jan Eric Euler uses the interplay of natural diffused light and the bike's sharp contours to perfectly showcase its minimalist aesthetic.
