LEDLENSER donates €10,000 to the Children's and Youth Hospice BURGHOLZ

Between Black Friday and the holidays, gift shopping is in full swing. An alternative is being demonstrated by the initiative of students and trainees at Ledlenser: Following a successful factory sale in September, the team and management decided to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Burgholz Children's and Youth Hospice in Wuppertal. This hospice supports families of terminally ill children, teenagers, and young adults – and relies on donations to do so.

"We are very proud of our students and trainees – the factory sale was such a great success only because of their commitment. By donating to the Burgholz Children's and Youth Hospice, we are supporting a good cause in the region and can thus conclude the project on an even more positive note," said Kai Milewski, Managing Director of Ledlenser.

"After deciding to donate a portion of our proceeds, we quickly agreed on a recipient. One of our partners for the factory sale, a local food truck, collected donations for the hospice – we thought that was a really wonderful idea!" Naomi Avvenire, a dual-study student at Ledlenser, recalls the experience. The donation was quickly organized, as was the check presentation on site.

The Wuppertal Children's and Youth Hospice offers ten rooms for the families of children with life-limiting illnesses. "In addition to providing care, we focus primarily on relieving the burden on families and creating a positive environment where children can play, laugh, and talk together," explains hospice director Kerstin Wülfing.

According to Wülfing, in addition to providing accommodation and care for family members, the donations also benefit bereavement support and the employment of additional specialists. The hospice's work in these areas is approximately 50% funded by donations. Therefore, every contribution counts – from students who empty their class funds to large corporate donations.

“Perhaps our donation can serve as food for thought before Christmas: Does it have to be a mountain of gifts – or is supporting a charitable project a good alternative?” Naomi Avvenire concluded.

Ledlenser is one of the world's leading manufacturers of portable lighting and has made a name for itself as a true LED pioneer and one of the first LED flashlight manufacturers since 2000. Ryan McGinley captures the LOEWE × On collection in Tenerife - movement studies between art, street and athleticism

Ryan McGinley infuses movement and energy into the new LOEWE × On Fall/Winter 2025 campaign, shot on Tenerife. The result is a striking visual statement about body, rhythm, and urban freedom.

Photographed by the acclaimed American artist Ryan McGinley, the campaign features the dance company MazelFreten, directed by Bleunuit with Ash Rucker as Movement Director. Filmed at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of La Laguna, the campaign merges art and athleticism in bold, expressive imagery that celebrates movement across urban spaces. MazelFreten’s choreography captures the essence of being alive – a dialogue between struggle and success, expression and community, dissolving the boundaries between stage and street.

Movement is woven within the beauty of the unpredictable. So proud to finally share the result of this incredible team effort,” says Art Director Ruben Faccini on Instagram.

At the center of the campaign is the limited-edition Cloudsolo, the first sneaker co-designed by LOEWE and On. Where Spanish craft meets Swiss engineering, a completely new design is born – a sneaker that unites comfort, function, and style. Alongside the Cloudsolo, the Cloudtilt returns in new denim-inspired tones – casual, technical, and ready for city life. Complementing the footwear, the ready-to-wear collection features fluid silhouettes, technical fabrics, and functional cuts made for everyday performance. The LOEWE × On collaboration is now available globally in stores and online.

On was founded in the Swiss Alps in 2010 with the mission to ignite the human spirit through movement – a mission that continues to guide the brand today. Present in more than 80 countries, On connects with a global digital community via on.com.

Founded in Spain in 1846, LOEWE is one of the world’s major luxury houses, with over 179 years of history. Its latest chapter redefines the brand as a house rooted in craft and culture – characterized by an intellectual yet playful approach to fashion, a vibrant take on the Spanish lifestyle, and unmatched leather expertise.
